Live Chair Health Raises $3.5M in Seed Funding
Live Chair Health (LCH), a culturally relevant and tech-enabled member activation and engagement platform with the mission to reduce health disparities across the US, has announced its $3.5M seed funding led by venture firm Healthy Ventures, with participation by the Designer Fund, and strategic angels such as NBA-star Mason Plumlee’s Freesolo Ventures and the founder of HealthCrowd.
“I am thrilled to have the support of stellar investors, each the leader in their segments: Healthy Ventures in transferring winning playbooks across verticals onto healthcare, the Designer Fund in designing beloved products and experiences in championing culturally-relevant brands.”, exclaims Andrew Suggs, CEO and founder of Live Chair Health.
“The phrase ‘Meet patients where they are’ is often thrown around. Live Chair walks the walk, with its omnichannel platform of real-life community nodes and digital app experience to lessen the load we impose on patients. LCH’s singular insights and operational playbook are borne out of a deep, native understanding for the historically underserved communities that now can be intentionally served. We’re blessed to partner with Live Chair Health to structurally change how healthcare can be received and perceived for so many communities throughout this country,” says Enmi Kendall of Healthy Ventures.
Live Chair Health will use the proceeds from this financing to broaden its geographic and product footprint, and to build out their infrastructure for future growth. LCH is gearing up to enter two new states this year and substantially expand operations in its existing markets of Maryland and Los Angeles. “The existing health disparities across communities are unacceptable. And it’s our mission to decimate them.” says Live Chair Health Founder and CEO Andrew Suggs. “I am humbled and beyond grateful to be able to take the next step in this journey.”
