Who we are

Live Chair Health is on a mission to help reduce the health disparities across the US. We’re helping health plans and health systems engage and activate their members, especially those that they historically struggled to reach.

We do so by combining the best of community-organizing, consumer marketing, and technology to form a unique activation strategy that works with and empowers the respective communities and creates change from the bottom-up.

We’re currently working with some of the largest Medicaid health plans as well as health systems across the country. Having started in Maryland and California, we’re actively expanding into Louisiana and Washington, D.C. We’ve raised a Seed financing round and are backed by some of the most renown investors and individuals in healthcare, culturally-relevant brand building, and consumer marketing.

This role

The Director of Business Operations will own the central operations, company-wide metrics tracking, and oversee special projects. More specifically, you’ll oversee our outbound outreach activities, coordinate our central learning and knowledge sharing, own our project management office, oversee the metrics tracking for all markets, departments, and individuals as well as associate compensation processes.

This is a wide surface area to cover and is a unique chance to get deep insights into building a company while creating a tremendous social impact. You will be a critical member of our leadership team, working closely with the founder CEO and reporting to the COO. 

This is a fully remote role with a preference for someone located in one of the following metropolitan areas: New York, Maryland / DC, New Orleans.

What success looks like

In the first 2 months:

  • Understand the ins & outs of our target operating model - as well as improvement opportunities in theory and practice
  • Establish a weekly success tracking cadence for the company
  • Establish a company-wide learning mechanism and process
  • Fully own the performance compensation process
  • Support the market General Managers and any implementations tasks
  • Start taking on special projects
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop your roadmap for the next 6 and 12 months

In the first 6 months:

  • Continue owning and driving the above processes
  • Drive the implementation of new markets
  • Own critical internal initiatives and special projects
  • Take on an expanding set of responsibilities covering the central operations

Ideally, you….

  • …have a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree
  • …have spend 2 - 3 years in a high-paced professional environment
  • …know your way around spreadsheets - and SQL
  • …have worked in a professional and / or analytical environment
  • …have experience in an adjacent field like community-organizing, consumer marketing, product management
