Job Description

As featured on ABC Good Morning America, Live Chair Health (LCH) builds networks of non-clinical & clinical resources and in-person and digital services. Combining high-touch encouragement from a trusted barber or stylist, and high-tech digital and in-app “nudges”, barbershop and salon clients are helped to address minority health disparities. The Live Chair Health program recruits barbershops and salons and leverages the influence of those hair care professionals to initiate client discussions about chronic health issues that disproportionally affect minority communities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquires new barbers and stylists by reaching out to leads via Instagram, cold calling, and physical shop visits. You may also be expected to travel to tradeshows
  • Educate clients on healthy habits and next steps in their care journey
  • Resolves customer complaints and queries in the shop and over the phone
  • Maintain monthly or bi-monthly minimum goals
  • Make recommendations for the customer using a consultative approach
  • Maintain documentation of customer contact and account updates through a CRM
  • Conduct health screenings (training will be provided)
  • Be open to becoming a health coach
  • Help plan and execute shop launch events

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideal but not required)
  • Additional certifications and other professional development experience
  • 1+ year of sales experience or customer support
  • Customer service and people skills
  • Phone, email, and chat communication skills
  • Prospecting skills
  • Territory management aptitude
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums
  • Patience to deal with customer issues and calls that do not end in a sale
